Summary of Position:

The Campus Safety Department is seeking a summer intern to support a community-centered approach to campus safety and security and emergency preparedness.

This role focuses on assisting in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors across all Academy-owned and operated properties. The intern will help identify and respond to community needs, provide a visible and approachable presence on campus, and serve as a point of contact for visitors during the school day, events, and athletic competitions.

The intern will assist with documenting incidents, supporting routine safety operations, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. The position also emphasizes relationship-building across the campus community to foster trust, familiarity, and a strong sense of belonging.

Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to read, interpret, and respond to written reports in English.

NOTE: There is potential for part-time/per-diem work during the academic year.
