Sensata Interns have the unique opportunity to work on a technical project. Throughout the internship experience, you will receive direct feedback from peers and managers, engage with other interns in the program, and will have multiple learning opportunities through Lunch and Learn presentations and training courses.
Our Intern Program is inclusive to all our US sites and is designed to give each intern a concentrated view of what it is like to be an engineer at Sensata. Internship projects vary from year to year and are based on current business needs at the time of the internship. Specific details will be provided prior to your start date, but all projects are technical and require a sound understanding of engineering principles.

As a DEI Intern possible responsibilities could include:
- Execute a project focused on ERG operations, including curating content and developing an internal SharePoint site to house an ERG Toolkit
- Execute a project focused on DEI operations, including cataloging existing DEI files, and developing a solution that provides the DEI team end users an organized and efficient experience when accessing previous and future content
- Research best practices, provide recommendations for possible new approaches, training, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement of DEI programming and policies
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Draft documents and templates in alignment with DEI initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Have an authentic interest and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to the workplace
- Technical experience and / or aptitude with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Possession of excellent oral, written and virtual communication skills
- Ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion / Marketing or Advertising / Organizational Development / Business / Human Resources / Social Sciences / Organizational Development, from an accredited program
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident is NOT required for this position, however proper work authorizations will be required.
