The business development analyst will apply financial principles and modeling to improve revenues, support business strategies and decision-making, and expand our customer base in the cell and gene therapy space. This role will include evaluation and improvement of project and process pricing, revenues, margins, and processes under the supervision of a business team lead.
This role may report to either our NYC, NY or Boston, MA location
Responsibilities:
-Generating searches and prospecting reports via Global Data (prospecting database) and supporting the establishment of CDAs for initial customer engagements.
-Supporting development of business processes including invoicing and billing, and others as assigned.
-Salesforce (CRM) data entry and updates, generation of reports, forecasting, and associated activities.
-Supporting the generation of pricing for incoming requests for quotes and proposals with a focus on improving revenues and margins.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree to include finance, business development, marketing, or similar. MBA is a plus.
Experience:
2-3 years’ experience in business analyst or similar role.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of financial principles and modeling.
Expert knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
Understanding of the utility and application of CRMs.
Strong written and oral presentation/communications skills.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $65,370.00p/yr to $70,500.00p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
