The Associate Development Program (ADP) is a two-year rotational program beginning July 2024 designed to bring high potential early career talent into the organization, expose participants to a curriculum of continuous development and create a pipeline of transformative professionals and future leaders. The program is structured to provide rich development opportunities and real-world experiences, in different locations, so participants gain a holistic view of the organization. The goal is for the Associate to transition into a specific role at one location at the end of the 2 years based on the experience and skill set the individual has developed over the course of the program.
Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic communications specialist to join our growing Global Marketing and Communications team, a professional who is willing to roll up their sleeves and execute strategies and tactics to maintain and improve communication to internal audiences. Our internal communications specialist will play a pivotal role in improving our global employee experience.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assist with enhancing and executing a global internal communications strategy, including ongoing assessment and measurement.
- Quickly absorb and emulate the style and voice of H&V, as well as formatting/look and feel for internal communications to ensure consistency across all communications touchpoints.
- Establish and understand varying global internal stakeholder groups.
- Partner with all internal departments to direct, create and publish content to our intranet, ensuring that content is engaging and up-to-date.
- Build and support appropriate content to share on our various digital platforms that cultivate meaningful two-way dialogue across the organization.
- Drive internal communications best-practice research; formulate recommendations on improvements to the internal communication program.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for H&V and offer support and guidance for our internal partners in their communication initiatives.
Qualifications (education/Experience)
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Office 365, specifically SharePoint. Experience with a digital signage solution is a plus.
