Hours/ week: Dependent on student’s hours needed (10-40)
Supervisor: Program Manager
Supervision: Given per program requirements
– Check-ins given initially, mid-way, and then final

Job Duties/ Tasks:
– Filing mail in client’s physical folders
– Prepare intake forms
– Draft immigration forms on Cerenade
– Application compilation
– Meeting interpretation
– T visa memo and application
– U visa memo and application
– Asylum applications/ memos
– Low bono applications/memos – citizenship, family based, etc
– Case management services/ referrals for mental health, housing, medical, ESL classes, etc
– Administrative tasks such as translations of documents, filing of documents and other notices received from USCIS
– Country conditions research
– Drafting motions
– Reviewing client’s supporting documents for discrepancies (exp: review ORR records)
– Attending immigration trainings
– Law students additionally may: Shadow attorneys in interviews, client meetings, immigration court, webex court hearings, draft client declarations, family support letters/declarations, prepare table of contents for client’s application
