As a Licensed Account Executive at X5 Home Loans, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to disrupt the mortgage industry by delivering on the 5 ‘X Factors’ that define our company: Communication, Availability, Speed, Simplicity, and Guidance. Your Role
We believe in transparency, so lets dig into some specifics of what your role would look like if you were selected to join the X5 team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Initiating, developing and cultivating relationships with referral partners, primarily real estate agents but also including divorce attorneys, financial planners, CPA’s, home builders, bankers, hard money lenders, and more.
- Clearly demonstrating the X5 value proposition and helping referral partners to understand how they can close more business with less time and stress by partnering with X5 Home Loans.
- Building the trust needed to secure referrals from the partners you’ve connected with and ensuring those clients are successfully connected with our production team, so that the client and referral partner both have a great experience they’d like to repeat.
Some of the specific activities you’ll be completing on a regular basis to accomplish this mission include:
- Sales calls to new potential referral partners
- One on one meetings with potential referral partners
- In person visits to real estate offices
- Scheduling, coordinating, and hosting events that are valuable to potential referral partners
- Promoting, inviting and generating a strong attendance for these events
- Attending various local networking events that present good opportunities to meet potential referral partners
- Create content and engage with potential referral partners on social media
- Maintaining close contact and finding various ways to add value to existing referral partner relationships
- Receiving new referrals from the partnerships you’ve created and connecting them with our production team to ensure they have a great experience.
- Keeping your referral partner up to date with the progress and status of the clients they’ve referred

Compensation & Benefits
- $20,000 base salary
- Uncapped commission structure, based on a percentage of the loan amount for every closed loan with a referral source that you generated.
- Based on the nature of this industry and this role, if you’re successful you will be establishing relationships with referral partners that continue for a long period of time and your commission should continue to increase and compound year after year.
- Outlines of expected earnings in years 1 through 5, based on four different levels of success within the role are available upon request

Skills and Experience – Required
- Industry Knowledge & Financial Acumen
- Understanding of mortgage products, loan types, interest rates, terms and industry trends. (if you don’t’ current possess this, we can help you build it)
- Ability to learn and utilize numerous software tools that support the primary job functions.
- Sales and Communication Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with potential referral partners and clients
- Proven ability to identify, pursue and secure potential business relationships
- Skills in lead generation through networking, cold calling and other prospecting methods
- Understanding of effective marketing and social media strategies to grow a personal brand and stay top of mind with target audience
- Experience tracking and managing contacts within a sales pipeline
- Ability to maintain and nurture relationships for repeat business and referrals
- Capable of presenting effectively to groups of varying sizes

- Accurately tracking the results of your sales activities to identify progress and opportunities for improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A focus in finance business or a related field may be advantageous.
- Sales experience in the mortgage, title or real estate industry is preferred but not required.
- A valid NMLS license is required for this position, if you are not currently licensed you would need to obtain your NMLS license before beginning your employment. The company can provide guidance on the process of getting licensed and will cover the costs of your 20 hour course and test.
