Assumption University’s Greyhound Investment Club* provides students with hands-on experience in managing real investment portfolios using donated funds. Supported by generous alum contributions, the club operates in the Lagarce Trading Room, where members analyze markets, invest in U.S. stocks, and earn certifications such as Bloomberg Market Concepts. Open to qualified** Assumption students, the Fund blends classroom learning with real-world application, developing financial analysis, teamwork, and decision-making skills highly valued by employers such as Bain Capital and Fidelity. The club embodies the Grenon School of Business’s mission to prepare ethical, career-ready leaders in finance and investment management.
*This is not an SGA-recognized club, but rather an organization led by the Grenon School of Business. Contact Finance Department Chair, Professor Smriti Rao, to inquire further.
*Membership is open to Assumption students who have completed the prerequisite courses FIN 325 Financial Management and ECO 115 Statistics.
