The ALANA (African, Latino/Hispanic, Asian, and Native American) Network is a student-run organization at Assumption University dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive community that celebrates diversity and cultural awareness. Through weekly meetings, ALANA collaborates with campus partners and the Worcester Consortium to host educational and engaging multicultural programs, panel discussions, lectures, and performances.
Signature events include the Latino Heritage Dinner, Lunar New Year celebration, Black History Month programs, and the End-of-Year ALANA Banquet. The Network also presents the ALANA Diversity Award, honoring faculty who promote inclusion and integrate diverse perspectives into their teaching.
