The Longwood Collective is seeking a talented and motivated Transportation Intern to join its Operations Team. POSITION SUMMARY
The Transportation Intern is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of Transportation in overseeing the shuttle bus program, including customer service, metric tracking, and contract compliance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Collect, observe, and report on specific key performance indicators and contract metrics for shuttle operations and maintenance to help ensure desired quality service levels.
•Respond to service complaints.
•Assist in revising bus schedules and routes to meet changing service demands.
•Assist with the planning and coordination of special events.
•Attend stakeholder meetings directed at improving overall service.
•Assist in the development of presentation materials to be used in committee meetings.
•Flexible schedule with both remote and in-person job duties.
•Maintain regular attendance via a hybrid work schedule. Occasional early morning assignments.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• As needed, assist the Senior Manager of Transportation on transportation-related meetings, events, and /or special projects.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidate.
•Intermediate or Advanced user of Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•Ability to work with online transportation management applications related to bus shuttle tracking and maintenance.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
