The Academy seeks an engaging, collaborative and mission-driven professional to teach 7th and 8th grade Spanish (four sections), coach and advise students, participate in summer programming, and demonstrate commitment to all aspects of the Academy’s mission. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with significant course work in Spanish Language or be a native Spanish speaker and have experience with middle school or high school-aged youth. Flexibility in teaching additional subject areas is also a plus. Teaching at the Academy is an 11-month school year role that includes participating in the June two-week residential summer camp and teaching during the month-long July session.
This full-time faculty position is an eleven-month, salaried, exempt employment position with occasional evening responsibilities. Salary is competitive within the Baltimore area independent school market.
