Springville Center for the Arts is a rural multi-arts center that serves as the cultural hub for the region, offering a wide range of programs including concerts, theater productions, gallery exhibits, workshops, summer programs for children, and large-scale community events. SCA’s mission is to build a culture of appreciation for the arts and foster creative inspiration through diverse opportunities for artistic engagement.
This is a full-time internship. Free housing is located directly next to the Art Center. Springville is a small but dense town – most things are within a short walking distance, so no car needed. Internship begins the last week of May and ends the second week of August. You will be working alongside and living with our visual arts interns but will not be directly involved in their responsibilities.
Preferred traits that make our interns excel in this position are communication, teamwork, initiative, and skills in theater and teaching. We love students who are ready to try new things, aren’t afraid of making mistakes, and who are excited for a full and fun summer!
