Mentoring Program at St. Peter's
Our Mentoring Program takes place at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Main Street. We pair children ages 6—12 from the local area one-to-one relationships with college student mentors. Mentors are volunteers who form caring relationships with the children and help with social skills, reading, homework, arts and crafts, games, and much more. Since 1996 our Mentoring Program has helped children and mentors learn and grow, together. Sessions are held every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30—4:45 p.m.
We are seeking volunteer mentors for the 2019-2020 school year. We ask our mentors to commit to one day a week for an entire semester. Students can apply by submitting the application form and emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
