Interning with Nashua PAL will give students the opportunity to be engaged with and work in a nonprofit organization that is focused on building relationships between youth and the Nashua Police Department in Downtown Nashua. PAL focuses on youth development through mentorship, learning, and organized sports while instilling character values and healthy habits in our future community leaders.
If interested, you will gain more than just experience and knowledge; you will develop your professional network while making a positive impact in our community. Students pursuing any of our available positions will work independently and collaborate with PAL staff in small teams to manage and maintain both short term and long-term projects that focus on increasing capacity of our established nonprofit organization.
Students who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of criminal justice will be given the opportunity to gain valuable experience with Nashua PAL and our partnership with the Nashua Police Department. Students will explore areas of police administration and operations, community policing, public outreach, juvenile justice, misbehavior correction and tracking, neighborhood watch, social justice, and much more. Students will have a direct connection within the law enforcement environment with this unique opportunity to work with a Nashua PAL Officer. The primary goal will be to learn about police operations and help bridge the gaps between law enforcement and our community.
