Job Title: Technical Sourcer (Entry Level)

Company: Nace Partners

Location: Rye, NY (Hybrid: 2–3 days in-office in Rye)

Experience: 0–2 Years

Compensation: Base Salary + Performance Bonus

About Nace Partners

Nace Partners is a premier, boutique search firm dedicated to building the engineering, product, and go-to-market teams that power today’s most impactful companies. Founded on the principle that recruiting should be consultative rather than transactional, we prioritize “human-first” relationships and data-driven insights.

We are proud to have been recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Recruiting Firms for six consecutive years. At Nace, we don’t just fill roles; we tell our clients’ stories and help talent find their next career-defining move.

The Role

We are looking for a high-energy, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented Technical Sourcer to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to master the art of talent identification and high-stakes recruitment.

As a Sourcer, you will be the “engine” of our search process. You will dive deep into the tech ecosystems of NYC, Silicon Valley and beyond , identifying the world’s best engineers and product leaders for our clients. This role offers a clear and significant path for career growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Talent Mapping: Research and identify top-tier technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, StackOverflow, and internal data-driven tools.
  • Creative Outreach: Draft and execute personalized, compelling messaging to engage passive candidates. You’ll learn how to “hook” a busy software engineer with a message they actually want to read.
  • Pipeline Building: Build and maintain diverse “benches” of talent for various technical niches (e.g., Distributed Systems, Machine Learning, Product Management).
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends. You’ll become an expert on which companies are growing, which are shrinking, and where the best talent is moving.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Directors and Partners to understand client needs and calibrate your search strategy in real-time.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience. We love candidates coming from fast-paced sales, hospitality, or research backgrounds. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Location: Able to commute to our Rye, NY office 2–3 days a week. (we have some flex here)
  • Grit & Resilience: Recruiting involves high volume and “no’s.” You need the persistence to keep digging until you find the right person.
  • Human-First Mindset: You align with our core values: Accountability, Empathy, Integrity, Levity, and Transparency.
  • Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating new software and are genuinely interested in the world of technology and startups.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with AI Products + Automating workflows

Why Join Nace?

  • Mentorship: You will work directly with industry veterans who are invested in your success.
  • Career Growth: We hire for the long haul. You’ll have a structured path to move from Sourcing to Recruiting/Leadership.
  • Culture: We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We value levity and a supportive environment where we celebrate each other’s wins.
  • Perks: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses, 401k, Summer Fridays

If you’re ready to kickstart your career in a high-impact, human-centric industry, we want to hear from you.

Nace Partners is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
