The Research Associate (Hanna Irie lab) will be engaged in translational breast cancer research program projects focused on identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets for metastatic and drug resistant, high risk breast cancers. The project aims to validate the functions of novel oncogenes/tumor suppressors and their relevance in the context of patient breast cancers. The Associate Researcher will be trained and will be responsible for carrying out experiments requiring a range of techniques and approaches (molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, in vivo mouse modeling, patient tumor tissue handing and processing, patient-derived xenograft models). The RA will work closely with the PI (Hanna Irie) and post-doctoral fellows in the lab. The RA will also be responsible for performing lab maintenance and management duties. BA/BS with experience in research environment required.
