Your Role and Responsibilities
Join the Financial Sciences and Digital Asset Research, as a part of IBM Research Future of Computing pillar as a software developer and become a part of unique mission with future looking perspective and cutting-edge technology.This is a unique opportunity to be in at the start of something new in both IBM and the IT industry. You will use your talents in software development, application architecture, cloud design and deployment to make financial technology transform the business processes for our financial services customers.
You will be working closely with our development and customer engagement experts in bringing this new technology to market. You will develop innovative solutions with customers in industries as diverse as Finance Services Industry and Fintech, Payment Tech and Digital Asset Space, which is brand new and a scarce commodity. You will be working in focused multi-disciplinary teams of design thinking, industry expert, pair programming and customer centric research involvement to develop first project code in short sprints and iterative cycles.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Understanding of front-end and back-end/cloud architectures and development environments such as (JS, Angular JS, Python, React etc.)
- Understanding and experience in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, Java/Python frameworks/packages/IDEs, API service development, cloud application development, container image development and deployment, and Kubernetes/OpenShift container platform.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in creation and maintenance of GHE-based CI/CD pipelines for a cloud environment such as IBM Cloud. DevOps Experiences with machine-learning-framework based Python applications is a plus.
