Full time position (40.00 hrs/week)is available in the Newfane area. This position requires skill and experience working with children in a multi-grade environment who have mental health and academic challenges.
Kindle Farm School is seeking individuals with the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (flexible if you are a perfect fit only!), preferably in the areas of psychology or education to work as 1:1 and/or Behavioral Interventionist in our day school. The successful candidate will enjoy working as a team member to ensure a safe and supportive school environment. A Kindle Farm worker can expect to work with students in a variety of active settings, both in and out of the classroom. The Behavioral Interventionist provides behavioral monitoring and supports to reduce/remove the student’s barriers to success in the school setting. Key skills include the ability to establish and maintian a supportive relationship with the student and apply behavioral interventions in a consistent and targeted manner. Successful candidates will be able to collect data and keep progress records, to use data to build and modify behavioral interventions, and to work collaboratively with school personnel and Kindle Farm staff.
