Starting rate of $48,256.00
We seek a dynamic, motivated and innovative individual to collaborate with the County Administration and senior leadership across the organization to plan and coordinate the implementation of various communications initiatives, including: media relations, public information dissemination, and external community relations functions for the County of Franklin and the various departments of the County as directed by the County Administrator.
Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, public relations or a closely related field preferred. Experience working in County government preferred. Associates degree with significant work-related experience required. A minimum of four years directly related, progressively responsible work experience, including work related to marketing, communications, project coordination and management. Digital content management experience is required. Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities, may be substituted year for year.
