SUMMARY:Money Matters - Credit and Why It's Important - ALUMNI PRESENTER
DESCRIPTION:
As the College prepares to send the Class of 2018 out into the world, practical advice about an essential part of adult life -- personal finance -- would be a timely help. Now in its second year, “Money Matters,” will offer seniors (and forward-thinking juniors) sessions on budgeting, credit and why it’s important, and managing student loan debt. Dan Mercurio, member of the Class of 2001 and now general manager at SigFig, a wealth management company, joins accounting Professor Joe Foley and AC Director of Financial Aid Lori Moore, for these just-in-time workshops offered on consecutive Tuesdays in March. We all know money matters, and seniors will be more ready for that new challenge after these sessions.
