This is a practitioner-level course that melds business goals and the writing process to deliver a set of skills that bridges the information gap between organizations and the public. Topics include: Basics of Style, Media Relations, Press Releases, Brochures, Newsletters, Magazines, Annual Reports, Media Copy Writing, Speech Writing, and the use of Web Pages.
Students interested in business, marketing, media, communications, public relations, graphic design, advertising, or writing may want to consider taking this course.
Prerequisites: MKT 101
