MAT 202 – Discrete Structures

This course is an introduction to the mathematical logic and discrete systems. Topics include Boolean algebra, mathematical proof, sets, relations, functions, induction, combinatorics, graph theory, and applications.

Students interested in computer science, information technology, engineering, software development, video game design, CAD, computer programming, telecommunications, or operations research would benefit from taking this course.

Prerequisites: MAT 118 OR MAT 132 (either can be taken concurrently)
