This course introduces the Python programming language and the R programming language for statistical computing. Students will gain proficiency in writing computer programs to solve basic problems in data analysis. Applied problems will be chosen from a wide variety of subject areas. Prerequisite: Math placement at the level of MAT 114 or higher or completion of MAT 111.
