Congratulations! You made it through the Career & Internship Fair, networked with some great employers, and learned about full-time, internship, and volunteer opportunities available in your areas of interest. Now what? Where do you go from here?
- Research organizations
Odds are you encountered plenty of new organizations during the fair. Do your research on any companies that peaked your interest and learn a bit more about what they do.
- Follow up with employers you met
Did you collect business cards or contact information? If so, touch base with the employers who interested you. Thank them for taking the time to speak with you, indicate your interest in any opportunities they shared, and ask any follow-up questions you may have.
- Apply to positions
If you learned about internship/job openings that interested you, start working on your applications! Be sure to check out our sample resumes and cover letters to help guide you through the process, and visit the CDIC for tips and help completing these.
